Assalamualaikum,

Due to multiple credible moon sightings across the country, it has been declared that the first of Shawaal 1444 is today! This marks the beginning of Eid al-Fitr, a celebration of personal growth achieved during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Eid is not a celebration of the end of fasting, but it’s a celebration of the self discipline and growth we’ve gone through. It’s a time to reflect on our spiritual growth, self-improvement, and increased devotion to Allah. We should take this opportunity to carry over the new habits and routines we’ve developed during Ramadan to continue our spiritual and personal growth throughout the year.
