Have you ever heard the idea that religion was created by the weak to control the strong? Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche believed so, but I believe that is far from the truth. In fact, I argue that religion, specifically Islam, has been an invitation to strength and power for centuries.

As Muslims, we are encouraged to seek knowledge and strive to be the best versions of ourselves. The Quran mentions in Surah Mariam 19:12 “Oh Yahya! Take hold of the Book with strength…” emphasizing the importance of having strength in our faith. And in Surah As Saff 61:4, Allah says, “Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a [single] structure joined firmly.”

Islam not only emphasizes physical strength but also emotional and spiritual strength. Surah al-Anfal 8:60 states, “And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.”

Poet Sa’di said, “The sheep are not for the shepherd, rather, the shepherd is meant to serve them.” Being a strong leader and serving others is essential to Islam.

I firmly believe that the key to becoming a strong individual is not through dominating or controlling others but by achieving our own goals and ambitions. It is through setting personal goals and working towards them that we gain inner strength and confidence. And that’s where my 12-week action plan and accountability coaching comes in.

Let’s work together to create a customized approach to achieving your goals and becoming the best version of yourself.
